About Us
Our Instructor
Stuart is the owner/operator of Exceptional Driver Training. He is a fully qualified driving instructor and has experience providing driving lessons to people of all ages and skill levels. He also has a current Working with Children Check.
Stuart is focused on helping his students become the safest drivers they can be.
Our Vehicle
Exceptional Driver Training provides all driving lessons in our automatic Kia Rio with a dual brake fitted for additional safety.
The car has a 5-star ANCAP Safety rating.

Driving Lessons
We offer professional, structured driving lessons at very competitive hourly rates. Lessons are focused on safety and building confidence in our students.
We offer lessons to learners at all stages of their development.
For logbook learners, for every 1-hour lesson you have with Stuart, you will get 3 hours recorded in your log book
(maximum 10 x 1-hour lessons).
We offer lessons at night (in winter months only).
We also offer test preparation lessons to ensure you are ready for your driving test.
Safer Drivers Course
The Safer Drivers Course is a great government initiative, offering heavily subsidised Driver Training for Learners (who have already logged 50 hours of driving ). The course aims to better prepare learners for a safe transition to solo driving on their provisional licence, a time when the risk of a casualty crash increases by at least 6 fold. Learners complete a 3 hour classroom workshop, a 2 hour in-car coaching session and receive a 20 hour logbook bonus.

Driving Test
If you have completed at least 4 hours of lessons with Stuart and he believes you are a safe driver, you can book a Test Day package with us.
The package includes a 75-minute lesson immediately before your test, and use of our learner car for your driving test.
